what Digital SRL should i buy?

I want to get into photography but i dont want to deal with film just yet. i know DSRL’s are really expensive so i checked craigslist and here are the different brands i found. experienced photographers only, please give your opinion on the best professional camera for a beginner to use. thanks!

I have an Olympus E-300 and an E-510. The E-510 Works Great and would be an excellent choice. It has many features you won’t find on cameras like the Nikon D40.
