need to buy a standard normal old style camera that takes the 35mm films. where can I get 1?
I don’t need anything fancy like slr. Just a standard one that takes normal 35mm film. Basicaly its for someone from abroad and digital is too expensive for them and where they live 35mm cameras are still the norm and only proffesionals and enthusiasts invest in digital cameras. Plus he needs it as cheap as possible as its supposed to be a gift for someone and he can get one there for the equivilant of just over £10 or so. its just to show that its a gift from UK to look good. dont ask I diddn’t quite get the logic behind this either. Have seen one in woolies but its online and ordering would mean postage and so it takes it up to £13 so might go for that but I was wondering if theres anywhere else or even local (coventry district) where I can either save on postage or the price inc postage is cheaper than woolies.
Thanx.
Have you tried Boots or Argos or do you have a catalogue like Freemans or littlewoods.

Old Enough $6.59 The debut album by Austin-based blues-rock singer Lou Ann Barton didn’t sound like many major-label releases of 1982. Produced by Atlantic Records veteran Jerry Wexler (with, worryingly, some help from ex-Eagles schlockmeister Glenn Frey) and recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, Old Enough is a solid piece of soulful Texas-style blues-rock. Barton reveals herself to be an exceptional singer, sassy and sly but with a welcome tendency toward restraint. (Many singers in this style try too hard to prove their soulfulness and end up sounding ridiculous.) She’s also got a keen eye for songs, investing the old standard “Finger Poppin’ Time” with enough relish to make it sound fresh and turning Marshall Crenshaw’s rockabilly-tinged “Brand New Lover” into a full-on Wanda Jackson-style barnburner. There are a few missteps, like the too-slick-by-half radio-friendly ballad “It’s Raining,” but overall, Old Enough is an unpretentious, timeless-sounding set. It all but disappeared upon its 1982 release and remained out of print until the Austin blues label Antone reissued it on CD in 1997. ~ Stewart Mason, All Music GuidePerformers: Ava Aldridge – Vocals (Background); Ronnie Eades – Bass (Vocal), Sax (Baritone); The Flemtones – Vocals (Background); Lenny LeBlanc – Vocals (Background); Muscle Shoals Horns – Horn; Cindy Richardson – Vocals (Background); Eddie Struzick – Vocals (Background); Lou Ann Barton – Vocals, Vocals (Background); Barry Beckett – Keyboards; Harrison Calloway – Trumpet; Duncan Cameron – Guitar; Glenn Frey – Guitar, Vocals (Background); Harrison Galloway |
