loading 120 film -holga gcfn?
i think i’ve done it properly.
the numbers are upside down but i’ve read somewhere that some films do that for some reasons, so i’m not too worried about that.
the problem is…i kept on winding it, i didn’t notice the number 1 on the red screen when it popped up. i kept on winding until it goes to 2. that’s when i stopped and took a picture…
i remember taking photos with cameras that require films like that but usually when you reach the first number, it stops clicking… you can’t go further than that until you’ve taken the picture…
i’m just wondering with holga, it doesn’t do that so does that mean we just have to keep watching the number until it shows up???
i don’t know much about holgas… what else do i need to know?
Upside down numbers are fine. This is normal for most 120 film rolls.
There isn’t an automatic counter or winder stop for the Holga. You just need to pay attention when you are winding and look for the numbers.
Your Holga is an all manual camera, and will take a little more patience and learning on your part, but in the end, I think you will enjoy the photos you make from it.
