What size filter should i get for my canon 18-55 mm lens?
Im looking to buy a UV and polarized filter for the standard lens that comes with the Canon Rebel XT. Not sure what size filter will fit this lens. Would also like same filters for my 50 mm lens.
For future reference the Front Lens element, regardless of the lens, has printing around the lens.
One of the items printed there is the diameter of the outer ring, the size of the filters that will fit
this lens.
58mm is correct on the 55mm lens – I know I own the same lens. All other lenses, just check the printed data on what ever lens -it’s there.
