How do you fix a canon cam. when the lens aren’t working. Like it says lens erro restart camera a lot of times?

I have a Canon Camera and when i turn it on the lens make strange noises and say lens error. Restart camera every time i turn it on and try to fix it. So how do you fix the camera?

I assume you’re talking about a small P&S camera (sure would help to mention such little details as model, don’t you think?)

Sounds like either it got turned on accidentally while it couldn’t extend the lens (i.e. in your purse/pocket), or it got dropped or bumped while the lens was out.

If a bit of gentle pushing and jiggling doesn’t fix it, you’ll need to get it repaired. Most repairs on small P&S’s cost more than a new camera would.
