- The EOS has a very broad ISO capability ranging from 100-6400 which allows shooting in both bright light down to dimly lit conditions without noise. It can be extended to 12800!
- The EOS has a dual layer metering system and is now compatible with SDXC Memory Cards.
- Focusing is by a high-precision, 9-point AF system using an “f/2.8 cross-type center point”. The 9 focus points can be selected by you or the camera!
- The Canon Eos Rebel can take frames at 3.7 per second – up to 34 consecutive high resolution JPEG files or 6 RAW files at shutter speeds of up to 4000th of a second.
This is pretty impressive stuff and it’s not the whole story by a long way. So as I said, when you consider the EOS and its price you can appreciate that prices of Canon digital cameras represent excellent value for money.
